About the IWTO and the IWTO Wool Round Table

The International Wool Textile Organisation is the global authority for standards in the wool textile industry. Since 1930, IWTO has represented the collected interests of the global wool trade.

Each year, the IWTO brings the global wool textile industry together at the Wool Round Table. This event highlights the work of local wool industries and opens the stage for knowledge sharing and networking.

About the TTEA

TTEA is an employers’ association in universal terms. As part of the tripartite social dialogue, its main task is to conclude the collective labour agreements with labour unions in textile industry on behalf of its members. TTEA’s members are from across the whole textile value chain from fibers to processing and end-products. In addition to its services in industrial relations, TTEA also support its members for increasing their international competitiveness through its support schemes in vocation training, digitalisation, and green transition.

TTEA also represents its member at ITMF (International Textile Manufacturers’ Federation) and Euratex (European Apparel and Textile Confederation). TTEA became a member of IWTO in 1977.
