A global organisation headquartered in Amsterdam, ZDHC’s work aligns perfectly with IWTO’s mission to champion a susainable future for wool textiles.

Envisioning a world where better chemistry protects life, land, air, and water, ZDHC works with the fashion industy to keep hazardous substances out of clothes. The core of ZDHC’s work is its Roadmap to Zero Programme.

Roadmap to Zero

Roadmap to Zero a multi-stakeholder initiative designed to implement sustainable chemical management throughout the supply chain.

ZDHC goes beyond merely checking finished garments. By shifting the industry’s focus upstream, hazardous inputs be prevented from entering production. This serves to protect not only the environment, but also workers and communities.

Through practical, science-based tools and industry-wide collaboration, ZDHC is  leading the fashion industry’s efforts to phase out hazardous chemicals from textile, apparel, leather and footwear supply chains.
