Carol Sebert co-founded Creative Matters Inc. in 1988 with a unique vision: to bring handcrafted floor coverings to interiors professionals and their clients worldwide. Creative Matters’ floor-to-ceiling creations grace upscale retail stores, hotels, corporate offices and residences in more than 40 countries. Clients include such interior design luminaries as Yabu Pushelberg, Robert Stern Architects, Gensler and Studio Sofield. Their designs have been embraced by style-setting retailers such as: Gucci, Tom Ford, Bergdorf Goodman, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and La Samaritaine (Paris). Among Creative Matters' hotel installations are Faena (Miami), Soho Grand (New York), Four Seasons (Whistler and Toronto), Ritz-Carlton (Mexico City), The James (Chicago and New York) and Andaz Ottawa Byward Market (Ottawa).
